      EVENT DETAILS
BA Visual Culture Taster Lecture 2019

Many of you will already be certain that you would like to study Visual Culture with us at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD): others will be considering whether Visual Culture is right for you.    Either way, we would like to invite you to an open session at the college. You will have a chance to participate in a taster lecture, to meet current students, and to tour the facilities including the Edward Murphy Library, Ireland’s leading specialist art and design library.   NCAD has a special atmosphere. Based on our campus in the Liberties in Central Dublin, Visual Culture students study the history and contemporary practice of art and design - including fashion and mass media - in the company of the next generation of practicing artist and designers. Our open morning will give you a chance to see the college in action.     The open morning will take place at 12 midday on Wednesday 20th February 2019 (room HCH203). The talk and tour will last c. 90 mins and refreshments will be provided. Please email NCAD visualculture@staff.ncad.ie if you would like further information on this opportunity.    If you are unable to come on February 20th but would like to talk to a member of staff about the programme or any other aspect of life at NCAD, please email the same address.   We look forward to welcoming you to NCAD - Professor David Crowley, Head of the School of Visual Culture
