Creative Europe Funding for the Arts & Culture Sectors

European Funding for Arts & Culture Sectors: Looking Beyond the Member States Are you planning a culture project with European partners? Have you ever wanted to apply for European funding for culture but weren't sure where to start? Then this event is for you! This is the Creative Europe Desk Ireland's annual event on the main Creative Europe funding strand for culture. This is your chance to learn why Europe funds culture and how the funding works. This FREE information seminar is open to arts, culture, heritage, craft and design organisations who wish to learn more about European support for culture projects. This year we are presenting a spotlight on the cultural and creative sectors in Georgia.   Did you know that there are 41 European countries eligible to take part in the Creative Europe Programme? Geographic diversity adds value to your project and also increases your chances of success under the Creative Europe Programme. To date under the Creative Europe Programme Irish organisations have partnered with organisations from 41 European countries! We would like to see these relationships deepen and grow so more and more projects reflect the amazing diversity of countries taking part in the Creative Europe Programme. At this event you will: Gain an in-depth understanding of how the main funding strand - Support to European Cooperation Projects - works. Learn about the role of the Creative Europe Desk in supporting organisations developing projects. Get insights from two recipients of Creative Europe funding who will share their experience and tips on developing and managing European projects.  Find out more about the cultural and creative sectors in Georgia and explore opportunities for Irish organisations to develop cultural projects with Georgian partners. The event will include a networking lunch.  Programme 10:30 – 11:00                                                                                                                                   Registration / Tea + Coffee 11:00 – 11:10                                                                                                                               Introduction Creative Europe Desk Ireland 11:10 – 11:40                                                                                                                                     Creative and Culture Sectors in Georgia – Ketevan Shengelia, Creative Europe                                        Desk Georgia 11:40 – 12:30                                                                                                                                       Support for European Cooperation Projects – Audrey Keane & Katie Lowry, Creative Europe Desk                              Ireland 12:30 – 1:15                                                                                                                                                  Networking Lunch 1:15 – 2:00                                                                                                                                         Creative Europe Case Study 1: BeMuseumer – Lana Karaia, International                                                   Programmes Manager, Georgian Museums Association 2:00 – 2:45                                                                                                                                          Creative Europe Case Study 2: BeSpectACTive – Maria Fleming,General                                                  Manager, Dublin Theatre Festival 2:45 - 3:00                                                                                                                                                      Closing remarks
