      POWERFUL SELF-HEALING: A WELLNESS WORKSHOP WITH MAIREAD HEAGNEY My one-day retreat will teach you how to diagnose the source of your suffering, control your emotional responses which manifest into physical pain and illness, and assume power over your own physical wellbeing.  During our one-day Self-Healing Retreat, you will  learn how to identify the triggers for your inner pain understand how they impact you acquire practical skills and mechanisms to manage these conflicts in future  We encourage disconnection from your busy life, an open mind, and a genuine desire to overcome pain and heal yourself. Our program includes presentations, guided meditations, and limited physical exercises which will be done seated. There will be regular breaks, and luscious vegetarian food to sustain you through the day’s activities and learning. Book alone for a day of peace and quiet and solitary healing, or bring a friend who needs this as as much as you do! 1 Day Workshop Agenda  10 am Introduction –  Learn about Mairead Heagney’s life and work, and the self-healing practices she developed and applied to her own recovery, which she now uses to empower her clients and students all over the world.   10.30 Principles of Powerful Self-Healing: Defining and Finding our Personal Power  How Personal Power can heal you Define what authentic Personal Power is, as opposed to the false beliefs that we have grown up with.  Identify how power is used to control others, or to compensate for our own weakness in an unhealthy way. Pillars of Personal Power – Understand the four principles which we can use to regain our power over our lives and our own health and wellness Control  Trust  Faith  Belief 11.30 Power Play – Our Control Dramas – Group Discussion  Identify the ways we knowingly or unknowingly surrender our Personal Power using real-life examples and scenarios from the group, or from Mairead’s own experience. Personal Power can be lost to   Anger  Self Pity  Detachment from pain or from people  Critical Judgement of ourselves those around us (Rules of the Group: Sharing your story is OPTIONAL and everything shared within our workshop is completly confidential. Sharing your personal experience if you wish to do so, can be very beneficial. Everyone’s story is unique, and valuable. Some people get benefit from sharing their experiences, others achieve healing silently or introspectively. There is no requirement to share with the group, and there is no wrong way to participate in the Retreat. The ability to connect with pain is what enables it to be released. 4.00pm Staying Well: How to overcome Triggers for the Future Mairead will sum up the day’s learnings and recommend daily strategies to support your Powerful Self Healing into the future.  Maintaining your Personal Power  Owning your emotions  Protecting yourself from the influence of other people’s emotions Daily Wellness Check  4.30 pm Open Discussion/ Q& A and Closing. On completion of our workshop, attendees will be able to identify the sources of their pain, and utilize Powerful Self-Healing tools and strategies to overcome them. They will have ongoing work to do to continue the process of Self-Healing – addressing problems in their familial, professional, or romantic relationships using the tools they have learned. They will know how to deal more effectively with issues or conflicts, and they will have a better understanding as to why those issues or conflicts arise. They will have an awareness of their Personal Power and how it can be used for Self-Healing, and a better and more peaceful path through life. This will benefit them, and also the people with whom they come into contact.
