The RDS Vision 2030 Series aims to harness the insight and expertise of thought leaders, influencers and innovators to identify the challenges and opportunities facing Ireland over the next decade. The focus is firmly on the future and what Ireland can do to ensure economic, environmental and social sustainable development.

Join us as we welcome Medb Corcoran, Ireland Lead for Accenture Labs, as she explains the importance of emerging technologies and the potential impact of artificial intelligence on Ireland as we seek to navigate a decade of disruption in an ever-changing global economy.

Based in Accenture’s The Dock, Medb incubates and prototypes new concepts through applied R&D projects that are expected to have a significant strategic impact on Accenture and its clients. Medb also drives the Artificial Intelligence R&D work for Accenture Labs in Ireland. This involves exploring new ways of addressing critical business problems by applying leading-edge AI techniques, including machine learning, natural language processing, knowledge representation and reasoning. Medb previously held the role of Applied Intelligence Director where she oversaw multi-disciplinary teams prototyping and piloting new technologies in the area of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence with pioneering clients across industries and sectors.

With a background in mathematics, finance, data science and AI, Medb has held a number of roles leading highly skilled, quantitative teams in consulting, industry and R&D. She bridges the business and technical/quantitative worlds – translating business requirements into innovative analytical and AI solutions, and also researching how technological innovations today will answer the business questions of tomorrow.

Breakfast will be served from 7.30am with the presentation beginning at 8.00am. The briefing will conclude by 9.00am.

Please note that bookings will close on Tuesday, April 30.
