You are invited to the “How to Self Publish a Book” workshop.  This workshop has been conceived to inform you on how to become an independent author and publisher in just 2 hours! ....and a half :)  The session is held by Gian Tapinassi, trainer, Scrum Master and publishing expert, with the aim to clarify any doubts about self-publishing and how to do it.  Here some questions we’ll try to give a complete answer to:  - How do I self-publish a book? A step-by-step guide with a detailed (downloadable) checklist of actions. - How much does it cost to self publish a book? - How much money can you make from self-publishing a book? - Is indie publishing a viable path to become an author? - How to distribute a self-published book.- The real difference between indie publishing/self-publishing and traditional publishing. - What are the requirements to publish a book professionally The session will be as much interactive as possible with questions during the presentation, however, to respect the timing Gian will answer the most demanding questions at the end. And, if after the 2 hours and a half of the workshop you still have some burning question, or you prefer to discuss your issues privately with Gian, you can avail of the 1-to-1 session accompanying the workshop.... The 1-to-1 BONUS SESSION: All the workshop attendees can schedule a FREE ONE-HOUR 1-TO-1 SESSION with Gian where you'll get Gian's best answer to any question you have about self-publishing and the writing process (he will help you get unstuck!) and, time allowing, you'll discuss a strategic plan for your publication(s). After the workshop, you’ll be in the position to make an informed decision about self-publishing your book. You'll have clarity and no more doubts on what is possible, what is not and how things can or should be done. The workshop will last 130/150 minutes with a break after the first 60 minutes and before the final Q&A. The workshop will be at Ballybough Community Centre in Ballybough. The Ballybough Community Centre is a new building that hosts a Youth and Sports Centre in Ballybough Road just in front of the Bus stop. The workshop will be in the conference room on the top floor of the building. It takes just 10 minutes to reach the place with the Bus from the city centre (number 15, 27, 27a, 27b, 31, 130, 123).
